Kathleen Turner
Nicholas Gregory's rating of the film Body Heat
Nicholas GregoryBody Heat corrects the non-inherent problems in its forerunner, Double Indemnity. The suspense and tension is raised in the initial affair scenes with the fear of getting caught, and it lacks the 1940's censors, sizzling with eroticism. It also neglects many of the dull scam-theory expositions of it too. Yet, Body Heat still shows that the initial idea is still quite ordinary in its plot and non-unique in its story.
Pierluigi Puccini's rating of the film Body Heat
Pierluigi PucciniPerfectly woven erotic thriller, made from the same cloth of noir classics 'The postman always rings twice' and 'Double indemnity'. Sensuality fill its air thanks to great writing, John Barry's jazzy score and the debutant Kathleen Turner's presence. Destiny and greed always step on a murderous pact between lovers
earman's rating of the film Body Heat
earmanExperience'Body Heat' with William Hurt and Kathleen Turner. It is a seductive, lustful tale that gives a whole new meaning to the term thriller.Turner is the ultimate femme fatale and Hurt is putty under her spell. It raised my temperature and I decided I needed some wind chimes and some Florida sun in my life.
Dave's rating of the film Body Heat
DaveYeah, it owes a lot to prior noirs like Double Indemnity, but it has its own unique film that makes it essential. The way that Kasdan is able to visually express the oppressive heat swarming over everything is unforgettable.
Tigrão's rating of the film Body Heat
TigrãoWilliam Hurt is the only dude who can wear a 1970s-Porn-Producer moustache and shag Kathleen Turner and somehow making it seem like it's actually pretty cool.
Daniel S.'s rating of the film Body Heat
Daniel S.There was a time when the charm of a woman owed nothing to tattoos or fitness sessions. Sweaty Kathleen meets sweaty William and both make bubbles. A movie I cherish. Masterpiece.
Dzimas's rating of the film Body Heat
DzimasA wonderful update of Double Indemnity, with Hurt falling all too easily for the charms of Kathleen Turner. I liked the way Kasdan captured the sense of time and place in Florida.
ig_____or's rating of the film Body Heat
ig_____or'Body Heat' is smouldering, sexy and smart. Kathleen Turner's breakout role as an insidious femme fatale completely made the movie for me. William Hurt also played very well the role of the brainless-dick. A very hot neo-noir.
